Ready to take your skating full circle? This 2 hour class is all about learning how to jump 180s and spin 360s—both on flat ground and on ramps. Whether you're just starting out or looking to level up your rotations, you'll get step-by-step guidance in a fun, supportive environment. The class is led by Joy (@squidhair on Instagram), a park skating powerhouse from Denver known for her smooth spins and fearless style. Join us at Memorial Skatepark in Colorado Springs and get ready to turn heads—literally!

Class Details:

  • 🗓 Date: Saturday, August 16th

  • ⏰ Time:

    • Optional (but encouraged!) warm-up & stretching session at 9:30 AM

    • Main class runs from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • 📍 Location: Memorial Skatepark

    • 1315 E Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909

  • 💸 Price:

    • $20 per person

    • You can purchase online or in person at the class 

  • ✅ Skill Prerequisites:

    • Must be able to confidently skate forward

    • Must know how to transition to skating backward (turn around)

  • 🧳 What to Bring:

    • Your skates

    • Pads & helmet required (we have rentals if needed, reach out beforehand to reserve yours at skatehappy@solarrollerskateshop.com or dm us on instagram @solarrollerskateshop)

    • Sunscreen (it’s summer and it’ll be sunny!)

    • Plenty of water to stay hydrated

  • ⚠️ Waiver Required:

    • All participants must sign a waiver on the day of the class acknowledging that skating involves risk and you’re choosing to participate knowingly
